Salary: £35,655 - £41,949 per annum

What you will do

• Lead the day-to-day management of the hostel, including the main building and the glamping village.
• Achieve operational targets across all aspects, including food and beverage.
• Manage, recruit, and develop a team consisting of both employees and volunteers.
• Account for maximizing revenue while controlling expenditures and managing operational budgets.
• Contribute to daily operations, performing tasks in housekeeping, reception, and food and beverage.

Requirements

• Proven experience working within the hospitality industry (hotels, cafés, hostels).
• Experience in people management, including induction, performance reviews, and development.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations and high-pressure peaks.
• Experience managing P&Ls (profit and loss) and cash handling.
• Basic IT proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel).

Nice to have

• Food safety level 2 qualification.
• APLH level 2 qualification.
