hirify.global builds integrated renewable energy solutions and is establishing an in-house Training Centre in Birmingham.

What you will do

• Run the training centre day to day, including facilities, scheduling, budget, and team operations.
• Lead and line-manage the training team.
• Own the centre’s quality-management system and perform internal quality assurance by sampling and verifying trainer assessment decisions.
• Own centre accreditation: act as the named contact for awarding bodies and manage approval and ongoing audits.
• Maintain the compliance framework covering health & safety, safeguarding, data protection, equality & diversity, malpractice, and appeals.
• Lead health & safety across a site with live gas and electrical practical work and drive continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Level 4 Internal Quality Assurance qualification (IQA/V1 or equivalent) to verify assessment decisions across the centre.
• Level 3 Award in Education and Training (AET) and a recognised assessing qualification (TAQA, CAVA, or equivalent).
• Experience managing a training centre/workshop or similar technical/vocational operation, including people management and owning a budget.
• Hands-on technical background in at least one training area: smart metering (gas/electric), electrical, EV installation, heat pumps, solar, or BESS.
• Experience owning compliance and quality standards for a training/technical operation, ideally as a point of contact for an awarding body or accreditation scheme.
• Health & safety leadership experience across technical or practical work.

Nice to have

• IOSH/NEBOSH (or equivalent) health & safety management qualification.
• Experience working as an electrician (e.g., JIB Gold Card).
• Experience taking a training centre through awarding-body approval.
