What you will do

• Monitor alarms and respond to security incidents in real-time to protect people and premises.
• Manage access control requests and provide expert security advice and guidance to colleagues.
• Diagnose and resolve security equipment faults remotely and coordinate support from external engineers.
• Liaise with emergency services and suppliers during critical security incidents.
• Analyze operational data to produce reports and dashboards, identifying trends for service improvement.
• Review and update operational playbooks and documentation to maintain quality assurance.

Requirements

• Experience producing reports, dashboards, or management information.
• Ability to analyze operational data and identify trends or insights to support decision-making.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel for organizing and presenting information effectively.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills for phone and online interaction.
• Proven ability to remain calm, resilient, and effective under pressure in fast-paced environments.
• Location: Must be based in Edinburgh and able to work 100% from the office.

• Previous experience in a security, control room, or incident response environment.
• Experience working with alarm monitoring, access control, or similar security systems.
