Salary: £26,350 to £34,800 plus up to £2,000 performance-related bonus per annum (once established)

What you will do

• Manage investigations, assess intelligence, and coordinate with investigative service suppliers to reach correct case outcomes
• Assess a wide range of claims/referrals and decide the appropriate course of action
• Interpret intelligence to drive investigation strategy and proactively manage a claims portfolio
• Ensure adherence to claims handling/investigation procedures, company protocols, and service level agreements
• Maintain accuracy and quality of outputs, including reserves, communications, and avoidance of claims leakage
• Handle inbound telephone calls efficiently and contribute to continuous improvement and process initiatives

Requirements

• Good understanding of claims handling across indemnity, liability, credit hire, property damage, first-party claims, and bodily injury claims
• Technically sound judgement with effective portfolio management and file discipline to maintain reserve accuracy and service levels
• Excellent organisational skills and ability to work independently with minimum support
• Strong negotiation skills and excellent customer service skills
• Understanding of intelligence and investigative tools used to validate claims
• Ability to provide clear, concise instructions to service providers to support investigations
