What you will do

• Lead the design, implementation, and delivery of large-scale, critical software efforts for the ICON team.
• Influence technical and business strategy by defining team priorities and architectural approaches.
• Collaborate with strategic technical stakeholders and senior leadership to develop products for the e-commerce platform.
• Mentor and lead a team of engineers, ensuring high-quality delivery and professional growth.
• Invent processes, tools, and technology to automate management activities and boost productivity for thousands of internal developers.
• Leverage statistical evaluation, pattern recognition, and machine learning to drive projects and experiments.

Requirements

• Proven experience in engineering team management and software engineering.
• Knowledge of engineering practices for the full software/hardware/networks development life cycle, including coding standards and livesite operations.
• Experience leading the definition and development of multi-tier web services.
• Ability to communicate effectively (written and verbal) across organizations and with senior leadership.
• Experience partnering with product and program management teams.

Nice to have

• Experience in recruiting, hiring, and coaching software engineers to improve their effectiveness.
• Track record of collecting requirements and defining product strategy and technical designs.
