Senior Support Worker

TL;DR

Senior Support Worker: Providing day-to-day leadership and person-centered support for adults with learning disabilities and autism with an accent on coaching staff and maintaining high-quality care standards. Location: Must be based in or able to commute to St Albans, Hertfordshire

Compensation: £13.91–£15.19 per hour plus £75 per sleep-in

What you will do

• Provide day-to-day leadership and guidance to the support staff team.
• Deliver consistent, high-quality, person-centered support to adults with learning disabilities and autism.
• Coach colleagues through supervisions, observations, and 1:1 support sessions.
• Collaborate with the Locality Manager to maintain service standards and team culture.
• Work flexible shifts including evenings, weekends, bank holidays, and sleep-ins.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience supporting adults with learning disabilities and/or autism.
• Full UK driving licence preferred.
• Strong communication and leadership capabilities.
• Passion for empowering individuals to live independently.
• Flexibility to work a rotating schedule including sleep-ins.
