Salary: £35,271 – £41,556 plus potential £2,000 annual bonus

What you will do

• Manage a portfolio of high-risk and complex mitigation claims including credit hire, personal injury, and property damage.
• Validate claims for indemnity and fraud and perform accurate liability assessments.
• Conduct quantum assessments of claims and apply reserves in line with company guidelines.
• Act as a technical referral point, providing coaching and mentoring to less experienced handlers.
• Collaborate with panel solicitors on litigated cases handled on a non-delegated basis.
• Identify and implement strategic improvements to claim handling strategies.

Requirements

• Level 3 Mitigation Handler qualification or equivalent professional experience.
• Significant experience in credit hire and/or personal injury claims.
• Extensive working knowledge of the Pre-Action Protocol, Civil Procedure Rules, and costs.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
• Commercial awareness of relevant case laws regarding credit hire and personal injury.
• Must have at least one year remaining on a Graduate or Post-Study Work visa.
