What you will do

• Act as the technical point person for the Marine Team, providing guidance and mentorship to colleagues.
• Manage a portfolio of complex claims, specifically focusing on Marine Liability classes.
• Collaborate with underwriters to provide technical input on product wordings and vendor support.
• Oversee complex claims in litigation and watchlist claims, with a particular focus on US liability.
• Analyze loss performance and underwriting efficiency to identify profitable sub-segments and remedial actions.
• Build and maintain professional relationships with brokers and key legal providers.

Requirements

• Expert knowledge and experience in Marine Liability and other Marine classes.
• Proven ability to lead strategy for high-value claims and identify causation trends.
• ACII accreditation (achieved or currently working towards).
• Strong negotiation skills for resolving complex coverage matters.
• Must be based in London, UK for a hybrid work arrangement.
