What you will do

• Champion the implementation of AI-driven tools to automate manual accounting workflows.
• Partner with Legal, Compliance, and Data Analytics teams to ensure regulatory reporting accuracy.
• Lead interactions with external auditors and regulators, providing strategic input on state requirements.
• Oversee international team members and drive the strategic expansion of regulatory and customer funds oversight.
• Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual financial analyses, including fluctuation and trend reporting.
• Conduct technical accounting evaluations of new pronouncements and resolve anomalies in customer funds reporting.

Requirements

• Must be based in the US
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related analytical field.
• Minimum 8+ years of experience in Fintech, banking, or a regulated financial institution.
• Strong foundational knowledge of US GAAP and multi-entity regulatory frameworks.
• Exceptional proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience working with high-volume datasets.
• Proven ability to translate complex financial concepts for non-finance stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Public Accounting or Internal Audit experience.
• Experience with data visualization and AI tools such as PowerBI, Tableau, Alteryx, Claude, or Gemini.
