What you will do

• Maintain daily cash balances and support treasury and cash management activities.
• Prepare month-end journal entries, supporting schedules, and perform account analyses.
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts including cash, loan receivables, intercompany balances, and accruals.
• Perform financial statement fluctuation analysis and research significant operational or accounting drivers.
• Collaborate with Treasury, Finance, Operations, Tax, and Technology teams to resolve accounting issues.
• Use Excel, SQL, and AI tools to reduce manual work and build scalable accounting processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 2-4 years of general accounting experience, including a minimum of 2 years of full-cycle close.
• Working knowledge of U.S. GAAP and core accounting concepts.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including PivotTables, lookups, and Power Query.
• Basic SQL knowledge or a demonstrated willingness to learn data querying.
• Must be based in or able to work on-site in Los Angeles, CA.

Nice to have

• Experience with ERP systems, reconciliation tools, or banking platforms.
• Experience using AI-enabled productivity tools for research and process improvement.
