Technical Product Manager (Fintech)

Location: Hybrid (London, UK) — must be based in the UK and work from the London office at least 3 days per week.

What you will do

• Own a product vertical end-to-end (payments, remittance, insurance, or wealth) from strategy and roadmap to technical delivery.
• Shape technical designs with engineering, focusing on system boundaries, idempotency, ledgering, and reconciliation.
• Manage critical trade-offs between correctness, speed, cost, reliability, and UX.
• Integrate regulated constraints such as licensing, KYC/CDD, sanctions screening, and data residency into the product.
• Apply AI and LLMs where they genuinely improve outcomes, ensuring all results are auditable and reliable.
• Collaborate across Engineering, Design, Compliance, Operations, and Finance teams.

Requirements

• Significant experience owning complex technical products end-to-end.
• Strong technical foundation in system design, including APIs, datastores, queues, and consistency under concurrency.
• Experience in regulated or high-consequence domains (payments, banking, insurance).
• Hands-on experience with LLM-based products and defining evaluation metrics for ML/LLM systems.
• Must be based in the UK to support the hybrid office requirement in London.
• Strong English communication skills.

• Engineering or highly-technical PM background.
• Experience shipping zero-to-one AI-heavy consumer products.
• Market experience in Southeast Asia (SEA).
