Salary: $118,000 - $158,000

What you will do

• Monitor and manage the Engineering Expense Plan to optimize resource efficiency.
• Supervise and develop a team of budget managers.
• Act as a liaison between the Engineering and Finance departments for strategic planning and financial reporting.
• Oversee and improve forecast processes to monitor annual and monthly expenditures.
• Develop and implement control enhancements to improve overall budget governance.
• Identify and execute cost-savings initiatives and monitoring strategies.

Requirements

• Must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship (H-1B, STEM OPT/CPT, or TN).
• Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline.
• Minimum of 6 years of work experience in a finance-related field.
• Proven ability to influence cross-departmentally with leaders at all levels.
• Strong analytical, oral, and written communication skills.
• Ability to understand budget systems, financial accounting, and capital planning principles.

Nice to have

• CPA and/or public accounting experience.
• Master’s Degree in accounting or a related field.
• Experience in Engineering, Operations, Accounting, Budget, or Planning.
