Logistics Manager (Saudi Customs)

Location: Remote in Saudi Arabia; travel across the Middle East up to 20%

What you will do

• Manage end-to-end import processes in compliance with Saudi laws and regulations.
• Oversee seaport operations and clear freight through land-border customs.
• Apply Incoterms 2020 to reduce corporate risk and optimize shipping costs.
• Resolve customs delays, duty disputes, and documentation discrepancies with authorities.
• Coordinate logistics with sales, procurement, and legal teams in a matrix organization while maintaining shipment-tracking dashboards.
• Travel across the Middle East to audit vendors, resolve bottlenecks, and build relationships with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and port authorities.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of progressive experience in logistics and international trade.
• Experience working within an international or matrix corporate structure.
• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, business, or a related field.
• Expert knowledge of Saudi Customs systems, including Fasah and ZATCA.
• Deep functional understanding of sea-freight documentation, including Bills of Lading, COO, and Commercial Invoices.
• Advanced mastery of global Incoterms.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Valid passport and willingness to travel frequently within the Middle East.
• Strong negotiation skills, high-pressure port-environment experience, independent problem-solving ability, strong prioritization, organization, and results orientation.
