Logistics Specialist (Domestic/Export Shipping)

What you will do

• Manage domestic shipment processes, including TMS document distribution and booking management.
• Coordinate with carriers and freight forwarders and resolve shipment-related issues.
• Monitor carrier activity and performance and review and resolve transit claims.
• Work with sales and production teams on expedited requests and plant moves involving LTL or oversized shipments.
• Reconcile monthly invoices and maintain logistics documents and processes.
• Lead continuous improvement initihirify.globalves, including implementhirify.globalon of a new TMS system and process-flow optimizhirify.globalon.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or at least two years of supply chain experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with freight movement or logistics.
• Strong organizhirify.globalonal, analytical, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to collaborate with operhirify.globalng departments, outside processors, customers, carriers, and freight forwarders.
• Ability to work occasional weekends and holidays during month-end and quarter-end closeouts.

• Export/import shipment knowledge and export compliance experience.
