What you will do

• Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments via air, ocean, and ground.
• Prepare and review commercial documents, ensuring correct tariff classification and customs valuation.
• Manage compliance with Mexican Customs Law, RGCE, and international trade regulations.
• Schedule transportation with carriers and forwarders to optimize costs and transit times.
• Collaborate with Purchasing, Production, Warehouse, and Planning to support supply continuity.
• Maintain shipment logs, customs entries, and KPI databases in ERP systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in International Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field.
• 2+ years of import/export experience in manufacturing.
• Knowledge of Mexican customs procedures, HS codes, and global shipping documents.
• Strong Spanish and intermediate–advanced English proficiency.
• Proficiency in Excel and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle).

Nice to have

• Experience supporting customs audits.
• Knowledge of USMCA rules of origin and global trade compliance (sanctions, export controls).
• Experience with IMMEX programs and Annex 24.
• Logistics experience in the chemical industry, including HAZMAT and SDS.
