Manager Global Trade Compliance & Logistics (m/f/d)

What you will do

• Manage global export compliance, import/export operations, customs processes, and international transportation activities.
• Ensure compliance with German, European, U.S., and international trade regulations, including AWG, AWV, EU Dual-Use Regulation, U.S. EAR, OFAC, and BIS requirements.
• Manage BAFA export licensing, dual-use classifications, technology transfer reviews, restricted-party screening, and audit-ready documentation.
• Coordinate with customs authorities, brokers, freight forwarders, internal stakeholders, vendors, and external partners.
• Oversee logistics providers, transportation routes, costs, carrier performance, and trade compliance KPIs.
• Improve ATLAS processes, SOPs, compliance controls, reporting, automation, and trade program certifications.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, International Trade, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in export compliance, customs, international trade operations, and/or logistics.
• Strong knowledge of AWG, AWV, EU Dual-Use Regulation, the Union Customs Code, ATLAS, BAFA, export licensing, and customs processes.
• Experience with dual-use classification, technology transfer reviews, and restricted-party screening.
• Professional fluency in German and English is required.
• Strong analytical, risk assessment, stakeholder management, project management, communication, and organizational skills.

Nice to have

• Experience in a technology, electronics, or comparable international industrial environment.
• Knowledge of U.S. EAR, OFAC, and BIS requirements.
