Location: Hybrid in San Francisco, CA (minimum 3 days per week in office)

Salary: $290,000 – $325,000 + Equity

What you will do

• Lead a team of engineers supporting Trust & Safety and guide their career development.
• Set the technical strategy for applying LLM-based auto-moderation to detect and act on harmful content at scale.
• Identify and drive tech investments to build a durable internal platform for trust and safety.
• Partner with Product, Policy, Legal, Design, and Ops to deliver on critical safety priorities.
• Build an inclusive, high-accountability team culture.

Requirements

• Must be based in San Francisco, CA to meet the hybrid office requirement.
• Track record of delivering trust and safety initiatives for consumer-facing applications with user-generated content.
• Experience leading multiple engineering teams, including managing other managers and staff+ engineers.
• Hands-on fluency with AI/ML approaches to content moderation, such as LLM-based classifiers.
• 5+ years of experience in Trust & Safety and 5+ years of management experience (including 2+ years managing managers).
• 10+ years of systems engineering experience with full-stack proficiency.
