What you will do
- Develop ATE production test solutions for silicon photonics.
- Collaborate with factory applications, hardware, and software engineering teams to run full test and device characterization.
- Partner with customers to develop electro-optical testing methodology for wafer chips, modules, and packaged chiplets.
- Develop codes and testing methodology for mechanical alignment at silicon photonic automation test equipment.
- Provide technical support to customers, including project development, production support, issue identification, and prevention solutions.
- Work under pressure and take initiative to drive progress toward securing and gaining business.
Requirements
- MS or higher degree with a preference in Electronic Engineering, Electro-Optical Engineering, Physics, or Material Science.
- 5+ years of relevant experience in Automatic Test Equipment (ATE) and RF electronic devices.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Good communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams and customers.
- Experience with test programming and semiconductor device testing instruments (e.g., VBT, C++, Python, LabView, .net) is required.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with optical systems, modules, components, and photonics devices (lasers, detectors, modulators, transceivers, DWDM system).
- Knowledge of high-speed chip/high-speed IO interface testing (UCIE, PCIE, USB, MIPI).
- Experience with optical component characterization techniques and optical test equipment.
