TL;DR

QHSE&S; Manager (Site Security Responsible): Lead Quality, Health, Safety, Environmental and Security governance for UK sites, translating global QHSE strategy into practical site actions with an accent on ISO-based management systems, audit/certification readiness, and risk & incident management. Focus on strengthening compliance with UK legislation, coordinating security requirements (including ISO/IEC 27001 controls), and driving continuous improvement across the Aberdeen site.

What you will do

  • Maintain site-level QHSE and security governance aligned with the company Business Management System, policies, and accountability framework.
  • Advise and collaborate with site leadership to ensure QHSE responsibilities, risks, and critical controls are understood and effectively managed.
  • Coordinate health, safety, and environmental activities as the main UK interface with the Global QHSE Team.
  • Manage certification and assurance programmes, including ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001; coordinate internal/external audits and corrective actions.
  • Lead the local QHSE management system (e.g., Synergi or equivalent): training, incident/case management, action tracking, reporting, and dashboards.
  • Act as Site Security Responsible, coordinating physical and information security requirements and supporting ISO/IEC 27001 controls.

Requirements

  • Experience managing quality, health and safety, environmental, or integrated QHSE activities in an operational environment.
  • Working knowledge of applicable UK health, safety, and environmental legislation.
  • Experience implementing or improving management systems, policies, and operational controls.
  • Experience coordinating audits/assurance activities, corrective actions, or certification programmes.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence, advise, and constructively challenge stakeholders at different organisational levels.
  • Right to work in the UK; additional security-related screening may be required due to the role’s security responsibilities.
