Salary: $175,000 - $225,000

What you will do

• Partner with leadership to define, embed, and protect company culture and values as the US team scales.
• Own the end-to-end employee experience, including onboarding, offboarding, and engagement initiatives.
• Manage HR operations, including PEO relationships, payroll, benefits administration, and HRIS (HiBob) maintenance.
• Support employee relations, conflict resolution, and coach managers on people practices.
• Lead full-cycle recruiting: sourcing, screening, and managing the offer process for assigned roles.
• Bridge the cultural gap between the European roots and the North American hub.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in HR, with significant exposure to both recruiting and generalist work.
• Must be based in or able to work from the New York, NY office four days per week.
• Proven experience shaping culture and building HR processes from scratch in a scaling startup environment.
• Strong working knowledge of US employment law and multi-state compliance (wage/hour, leave laws).
• Experience working with PEOs and administering HRIS platforms (e.g., HiBob, Rippling, Gusto, BambooHR).
• Excellent judgment and discretion when handling sensitive employee matters.
