Head of People (HR/People Ops): Establishing and scaling the entire post-hire people function for a Voice AI platform with an accent on performance management, compensation structures, and company culture. Focus on building HR infrastructure from scratch and partnering with the CEO to support rapid growth.

Location: Hybrid (San Francisco)

Salary: $220,000 – $260,000

What you will do

• Own all post-hire functions including performance, compensation, culture, L&D, and HR operations.
• Develop and execute a prioritized 12-month roadmap for the People function.
• Establish baseline people metrics to provide data-driven insights for the executive team.
• Launch the company's first major performance cycles and compensation bands.
• Implement manager development programs and serve as a trusted thought partner to the leadership team.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in People/HR, with a track record of leading the function at a high-growth tech company.
• Proven experience building performance, compensation, and culture programs from scratch.
• Strong judgment in managing complex employee relations, restructures, and managing out.
• Ability to build and defend people metrics with an executive team.
• Must be based in or able to work hybrid in San Francisco.
