Sr. Solutions Architect - Retail, Travel & Hospitality (Data & AI)

Location: Charlotte, North Carolina; Raleigh, North Carolina; or remote from North Carolina. Candidates in other locations may also be considered.

Salary: $219,100–$301,300 USD annually, with potential annual performance bonus and equity.

What you will do

• Serve as the primary technical voice for 1–5 enterprise clients in the Retail and CPG sectors.
• Define and direct technical strategies with Account Executives for strategic accounts.
• Guide customers through evaluating and adopting Databricks as part of their data and AI strategy.
• Align account strategies around Databricks solutions and drive broader ML and AI adoption.
• Build a network of technical champions within customer organizations.
• Provide structured mentorship to other team members.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience working with very large enterprise accounts, including more than $1 million in ARR, in the Retail and CPG space.
• 4+ years of experience in pre-sales or supporting sales activities.
• Technical expertise in big data, data science, and cloud technologies.
• Experience driving data-driven business transformation and organizational change.
• 4+ years of experience designing and implementing big data technologies such as Hadoop, NoSQL, MPP, OLTP, and OLAP, or full-lifecycle data science solutions.
• Production programming experience in Python, R, Scala, or Java, plus experience maintaining and extending production data systems.
