Solutions Architect, Forward Deployed (AI)

Location: United States; remote work from home, with a hybrid schedule of two office days for candidates near San Antonio, Texas. Up to 50% travel may be required for customer engagements and events.

Salary: $152,852–$269,087.50 per year, plus potential bonuses, incentives, equity awards, and an Employee Stock Purchase Plan.

What you will do

• Lead technical presales engagements, executive conversations, discovery workshops, platform evaluations, and architecture sessions.
• Diagnose enterprise business and data challenges and co-design AI solutions with business and technical stakeholders.
• Build rapid proofs of concept and working prototypes using Palantir Foundry, Palantir AIP, AWS Bedrock, private cloud, and GPU infrastructure.
• Design agentic AI workflows, RAG pipelines, knowledge graphs, ontologies, semantic models, and real-time decision-making applications.
• Integrate AI applications with ERP, CRM, data warehouses, data lakes, and streaming architectures.
• Translate requirements into Statements of Work, document delivery assumptions and risks, and support the handoff through mobilization.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, data science, engineering, mathematics, or a related technical field, or equivalent relevant experience.
• 10+ years of software engineering, data engineering, or AI/ML delivery experience, including at least 4 years in customer-facing, presales, or field engineering roles.
• Hands-on enterprise experience with Palantir Foundry and Palantir AIP, including data modeling, pipeline development, ontology design, operational workflows, and AI application governance.
• Deep full-stack proficiency with Python required, plus Node.js or Go, React or Vue, SQL or NoSQL databases, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD.
• Experience with LLMs, prompt engineering, vector databases, RAG pipelines, data pipelines, dashboards, and agent orchestration frameworks.
• Unrestricted US work authorization without sponsorship is required.

Nice to have

• Palantir certification and AWS Certified Solutions Architect certification, or the ability to obtain the certifications within 90 days.
• Experience with knowledge graphs, semantic modeling, model distillation, RLHF, AI evaluation, and multi-agent systems.
• Background in technology consulting, AI startups, AWS professional services, or forward-deployed solutions engineering.
• Experience with Databricks, Snowflake, AWS data platforms, Azure OpenAI, Google Vertex AI, GPU infrastructure, or private cloud platforms.
• Domain experience in financial services, healthcare, supply chain, defense, energy, or manufacturing.
