Director of Talent, Culture and Organizational Effectiveness (HR/AI): Leading AI capability building and talent development strategies as a temporary leave cover for the Director with an accent on AI enablement and organizational transformation. Focus on designing AI training resources, optimizing team structures, and managing global talent retention frameworks.

Location: Hybrid (3 days per week in San Jose, CA)

Compensation: $110 – $125 per hour

What you will do

• Lead AI enablement by designing training resources and driving culture change toward AI-enabled ways of working.
• Manage the global Performance Review program, succession planning, and top talent identification frameworks.
• Oversee the expansion of the Next Gear Leadership Development Intensive and manage the Leadership Forum.
• Direct employee engagement programs and translate survey insights into prioritized strategic initiatives.
• Lead organizational design and change management efforts to enhance corporate agility and scalability.
• Support internal communications and strategic messaging across various company channels for a global workforce.

Requirements

• 10+ years in Human Resources, Talent Management, or Organizational Development, with at least 5 years in leadership.
• Must be based in or able to work hybrid in San Jose, CA.
• AI-forward mindset with hands-on experience using AI tools for rapid prototyping and practical application.
• Expertise in performance reviews, succession planning, and learning design.
• Proven change management capabilities and experience leading cultural transformation efforts.
• Ability to operate in ambiguity and pick up active portfolios mid-stream.

Nice to have

• Global HR leadership experience within a multinational corporation or high-growth tech company.
• Certification in change management, organizational development, or executive coaching.
• Advanced degree in Business Administration, Organizational Psychology, or L&D.
