What you will do

• Provide subject matter expertise in regulated cost-of-service and economic topics for transmission planning activities.
• Develop and implement regulatory strategies on issues impactful to the ISO's infrastructure development.
• Lead cross-departmental teams and manage stakeholder processes for infrastructure policy initiatives.
• Produce high-quality technical products, including white papers, presentations, and filings for CPUC and FERC.
• Mentor, coach, and provide daily work assignment priorities for staff to optimize team performance.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Economics, Public Policy, Engineering, Business, or a related field (Master's preferred).
• 6+ years of professional experience in regulatory cost-of-service regulation and public utility rate design.
• Experience with wholesale electric market rules, transmission issues, and utility restructuring at federal, state, or local levels.
• Proven ability to work with stakeholders and project teams to resolve highly technical problems.
• Strong analytical, interpersonal, and writing skills to communicate complex technical materials to diverse audiences.
• Must be based in or be able to relocate to Folsom, CA, USA.
