Salary: $158,000–$198,050/year

What you will do

• Manage and mentor the WECC Interconnection engineering team to support professional development.
• Lead the preparation and submission of interconnection requests and negotiate favorable agreement terms.
• Perform strategic analysis of interconnection queues and distribution systems to guide greenfield project siting.
• Collaborate with regional development and execution teams to optimize project timelines and budgets.
• Monitor system upgrades and identify creative mitigation solutions to keep projects on schedule.
• Present technical reports and viability feedback to management to support financial approvals.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in renewable/traditional energy development or transmission planning.
• Must have valid work authorization for the United States.
• Strong familiarity with Open Access Transmission Tariffs and Generator Interconnection Procedures.
• Proven ability to analyze power flow and system impact studies for utility-scale projects.
• Experience with project management and tracking tools.
