What you will do

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of up to 15 underwriters, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
• Monitor individual and team performance against KPIs, productivity standards, and service-level expectations.
• Perform quality assurance reviews to ensure decisions are accurate and compliant with company and regulatory requirements.
• Identify and implement improvements to underwriting workflows to increase efficiency and enhance customer experience.
• Collaborate with Sales, Operations, and Quality Assurance to ensure a seamless customer journey.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of mortgage or home equity underwriting experience.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a leadership position.
• Must be based in the United States.
• Proficiency in Google Sheets and Google Docs.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for all levels of staff.
