Salary: $97,800 - $119,800 USD

What you will do

• Lead and develop a global underwriting team while maintaining an individual case queue workload.
• Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to optimize underwriting workflows and drive operational efficiencies.
• Utilize credit models, policies, and systems to develop underwriting tools and best practices.
• Collaborate with the fraud team to identify emerging trends and implement process improvements to minimize losses.
• Identify and implement automation opportunities to improve scalability and the overall customer experience.
• Ensure SLA performance and decision quality through effective coaching and mentorship.

Requirements

• 8+ years of underwriting experience in credit, consumer/business lending, or banking.
• Must be based in the United States (indicated by US-only benefits).
• Proven people management skills, including performance management and development of direct reports.
• BA/BS degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a similar field.
• Proficiency in analyzing financial statements, tax documents, and handling judgmental lending.

• Experience leveraging AI tools to improve workflows and enhance productivity.
• Specific expertise in cash flow underwriting.
