What you will do

• Provide strategic oversight of Compliance Operations and Testing programs, including performance metrics and operational escalations.
• Evaluate test scripts, sampling methodologies, and remediation responses to ensure alignment with compliance objectives.
• Monitor compliance operations metrics to evaluate timeliness, service levels, and process effectiveness.
• Maintain operational ownership of key compliance areas including RESPA, ECOA, HPML, and state-specific requirements.
• Partner with Legal, Technology, and business leaders to strengthen internal controls and facilitate corrective actions.
• Lead, coach, and develop domestic and offshore team members to promote operational effectiveness.

Requirements

• Must be based in the USA
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
• 7+ years of experience within a financial institution, preferably a large or complex organization.
• 5+ years of experience in risk management or consumer compliance, specifically related to mortgage originations.
• Advanced knowledge of federal and state mortgage lending regulations including Dodd-Frank, RESPA, TILA, TRID, ECOA, HMDA, and UDAAP.
• Experience with loan operations, including processing, underwriting, closing, and quality assurance.

• Experience with ACES, Encompass, Jira, and Mavent.
