What you will do

• Develop and implement risk strategies and policies to manage onboarding risk for small and mid-market fintech offerings.
• Partner with product, engineering, and data science teams to enable decision support and customer insights.
• Utilize big data technology to mine transactional data and design new risk-adjusted policy proposals.
• Analyze portfolio performance at a granular level to identify trends and isolate key performance drivers.
• Optimize data collection and processing to provide visibility into the impact of new product initiatives.
• Provide strategic recommendations based on data and business assumptions to mitigate financial risk.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in policy development and execution within the data and risk space.
• Expertise in analytics tools such as Python, R, SAS, or SQL.
• Strong quantitative thinking and problem-solving skills with experience in large-scale data projects.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to tell compelling stories using data.
• Undergraduate degree in Economics, Statistics, Engineering, or a related field.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously to meet objectives and deadlines.
