Senior Actuarial Analyst (Fintech): Leveraging advanced actuarial techniques, predictive modeling, and data analytics to solve complex business challenges and support strategic decision-making within the insurance products division. Focus on developing analytical solutions, evaluating reserves, mentoring junior analysts, and driving business performance through data-driven insights.

Location: Must be based in the US (Hybrid: 2 days/week in office in Fort Worth, TX or Detroit, MI). Visa sponsorship is not available.

What you will do

• Apply actuarial models and methods of moderate to high complexity to solve business problems.
• Write code using SQL, Python, or R to query, transform, and visualize complex data sets.
• Perform periodic reserve reviews including UPR, IBNR, and cancellation analysis.
• Design, develop, and validate predictive and prescriptive solutions to inform strategic decisions.
• Mentor and train junior analysts and lead team projects.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including finance, accounting, IT, and R&D.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Data Science, Statistics, or Computer Science.
• 3-5 years of experience in actuarial ratemaking, reserving, or quantitative analysis.
• Associate of the Casualty Actuarial Society (ACAS) certification; Fellowship pursuit preferred.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, or R for data manipulation and statistical modeling.
• Experience with reserving software such as ResQ or Arius.
• Must be authorized to work in the US without visa sponsorship.

• Experience with machine learning or deep learning techniques.
• Experience working within an AI-enabled environment.
