What you will do

• Conduct daily reviews of high-risk P2P transfers and cash advance requests to identify and mitigate fraudulent activity.
• Investigate complex fraud cases including account takeover, social engineering, and friendly fraud.
• Analyze fraud patterns and emerging trends to identify gaps in current defenses.
• Collaborate with the Risk Strategy team to test and implement new fraud rules and machine learning model features.
• Create and maintain dashboards to track key fraud metrics and report findings to leadership.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States
• 2-4 years of experience in fraud investigations, risk management, or trust & safety within fintech or banking.
• Strong understanding of P2P payment networks and short-term credit products.
• Proficiency in data analysis using SQL and Python.
• Ability to make high-quality decisions under pressure and explain complex patterns to non-technical stakeholders.
