Salary: $140,000 – $165,000

What you will do

• Own significant areas of the monthly close, including journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, and financial reporting.
• Manage accounting for revenue, accounts receivable, payroll, commissions, operating expenses, and fixed assets.
• continuously improve accounting workflows within Rillet and the broader finance technology stack.
• Use AI and automation to reduce manual work and improve the speed and quality of the financial close.
• Collaborate with Strategic Finance and cross-functional teams to ensure accurate transaction recording.
• Support the annual audit, tax filings, and other compliance requirements.

Requirements

• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, ideally within a high-growth SaaS startup.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and extensive experience managing monthly closes.
• Expertise in revenue recognition for subscription software businesses.
• Ability to independently research problems and drive accounting issues to resolution.
• Must be based in the USA

Nice to have

• Experience with Rillet.
• CPA certification and/or public accounting experience.
• Proven track record of automating accounting processes in a scaling organization.
