What you will do

• Develop hands-on certification exams for use cases such as real-time analytics and observability.
• Collaborate with SMEs to create detailed job task analyses for exam development.
• Maintain and grade certification exams, including the creation of grading scripts.
• Design and deploy quizzes for course-completion badges and professional credentials.
• Build a community of certified professionals through social media, user conferences, and Meetups.
• Track and report on certification program KPIs and manage vendor relationships.

Requirements

• Proven experience developing technical certification exams and quizzes for software engineers and database developers.
• Proficiency in SQL.
• Technical depth in DBMS, OLAP, Cloud/SaaS platforms, and distributed systems software engineering.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment with a high level of ownership.
• Excellent communication skills.

Nice to have

• 5+ years of experience in technical software certification.
• Experience with curriculum development for databases or distributed systems.
• Direct experience working with the ClickHouse database.
• Experience with major Cloud Service Providers (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Technical degree in Computer Science or a related field.
