What you will do

• Run and optimize the earned-press engine: press releases, executive bylines, story pitching, interview coordination, media inquiries, and the byline pipeline.
• Direct external PR agencies, review deliverables for quality, and manage shared KPIs.
• Lead ShareGate executive thought leadership: select speakers, coach spokespeople, and decline opportunities that don’t fit the company narrative.
• Build creator strategy to improve AI-search visibility across blogs, YouTube, LinkedIn, and social; advise GTM on focus areas and measure impact.
• Monitor, analyze, and protect coverage, including ShareGate visibility in AI-generated answers (AEO) and share of voice.
• Support hirify.global corporate communications initiatives occasionally, including award submissions in Quebec and Canada.

Requirements

• Proven experience developing and executing communication strategies across earned channels, ideally in tech or B2B.
• Strong writing and editing across formats (press releases and executive messaging) with a clear point of view.
• Established media relationships and hands-on experience pitching stories, coordinating interviews, and managing media inquiries.
• Experience managing external PR agency partners.
• Ability to manage and coach executive spokespeople and exercise judgment on narrative fit.
• Comfort learning a highly technical product and the Microsoft 365 ecosystem quickly.

Salary: $100k–$125k base (OTE: $111k–$139k)
