Location: Hybrid (Austin, TX or Warren, MI) - must report to office at least 3 times a week

What you will do

• Lead, mentor, and coach a team of software engineers to foster professional growth and technical capability.
• Drive cross-functional collaboration with product management, hardware engineering, and design teams.
• Establish high standards for software quality, architectural design, and CI/CD processes.
• Manage team performance by setting objectives and tracking progress for timely software releases.
• Contribute to strategic planning, roadmap definition, and technology selection for future platforms.
• Oversee the full SDLC from requirements gathering to deployment and maintenance.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in software development, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Proven experience in coaching and mentoring engineers across various career stages.
• Expertise in Agile/Scrum methodologies for large-scale, complex systems.
• Must not require immigration sponsorship now or in the future (including H1-B, OPT, STEM OPT, etc.).

Nice to have

• Master's degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering.
• 5+ years of experience in a leadership or management role.
• Experience leading teams through organizational transformation.
