Manager Software Charging Functions (Embedded)

What you will do

• Strengthen and further develop the Charging Functions Software team.
• Lead internal and external resources while balancing operational control and delegation.
• Manage hiring, employee development, training, coaching, and mentoring.
• Define and monitor the technical roadmap for charging functions and firmware across the Hypercharger product portfolio.
• Align regulatory, standardisation, product, and customer requirements with internal and external stakeholders.
• Drive improvements in development processes, methodologies, quality, and technical decision-making.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Professional experience in embedded software and firmware development using C/C++.
• Knowledge of EV charging standards and communication protocols, including IEC 61851 and ISO 15118.
• Experience with agile methodologies and structured software development lifecycles.
• Experience leading engineering teams or acting as a technical reference, together with strong people leadership, coaching, and mentoring skills.
• Strong analytical, organisational, decision-making, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.

Nice to have

• Italian and/or German language skills.
• Knowledge of emerging technologies and best practices in embedded software and firmware development.
