What you will do
- Perform corrective, preventive, and emergency maintenance on utility-scale solar plants.
- Operate and maintain power electronics, including HEC, HEM, SMA, and DC combiner boxes.
- Manage ATI and NexTracker systems across California's Central Valley and Kern County.
- Execute high, medium, and low voltage switching operations safely and efficiently.
- Ensure all technical and administrative activities comply with environmental and safety requirements.
Requirements
- Possess a 2-year technical degree or equivalent Journeyman qualifications.
- 3+ years of experience as a PV O&M solar technician, or 5+ years in a power plant with 1+ year in PV Solar O&M/construction.
- Strong knowledge of electrical measurements, control circuits, and solid state theory.
- Ability to read, write, and understand English.
- Must be based in or be able to work in Bakersfield, CA.
