What you will do

• Perform corrective, preventive, and emergency maintenance on solar PV sites, inverters, trackers, and BESS equipment.
• Execute switching and clearance orders to ensure safe operation of power plant systems.
• Troubleshoot electrical systems, instrumentation, and control circuits up to technical capabilities.
• Maintain accurate plant documentation, including operating instructions and maintenance logs.
• Collaborate with field crews and supervisors to optimize site performance and safety standards.
• Assist with site vegetation management and general facility upkeep as required.

Requirements

• Must live in the general Lancaster/Mojave/Tehachapi area in California.
• Must have reliable personal transportation for daily site commute.
• Five or more years of experience in power generation.
• Two or more years of experience as an Energy Storage O&M technician.
• OSHA 10 and NFPA 70e certifications.
• Demonstrated knowledge of electrical or mechanical fundamentals and control circuits.

Nice to have

• Technical degree or solar certification.
• Experience with SCADA and Computerized Maintenance Management Systems.
• Knowledge of NFPA 855.
