What you will do

• Perform electrical power system modeling and analysis for solar, wind, and battery storage generation projects.
• Develop technical studies and reports for short circuit, reactive power, load flow, arc flash, transients, and grounding.
• Ensure interconnection compliance and perform ampacity calculations.
• Maintain strong professional relationships and manage communications with clients regarding specific assignments.
• Apply and maintain a deep understanding of applicable electrical codes and standards.
• Assist with detailed design of one-line diagrams, relaying schematics, SCADA, and cable sizing.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution (electric power option preferred).
• 1–4 years of relevant engineering or field experience.
• Proficiency in power system modeling software: PowerFactory or ETAP (Required), Cymcap, CDEGS, or WinIGS.
• Must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
• Effective written and oral communication skills.

Nice to have

• FE or PE licensure.
• Experience with SKM Power Tools, Easypower, Aspen, or Windmil.
• Knowledge of Interconnection & Dynamic Modeling (PSSe, PSLF) or Transient Studies (PSCAD).
