What you will do

• Design and develop electrical components and sub-systems for thermal battery and power dispatch applications.
• Create schematics, PCB layouts, and technical specifications for power electronics, control circuits, and instrumentation.
• Perform electrical analysis, simulation, and validation testing on assigned designs.
• Collaborate with mechanical, software, and systems engineering teams to integrate electrical designs into the broader product.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues during prototype builds, bench testing, and field deployments.
• Ensure designs meet safety standards and regulatory requirements, including NEC, UL, IEC, and IEEE.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• 3+ years of electrical engineering experience, ideally with power systems or power electronics.
• Proficiency with electrical design tools such as Altium, EAGLE, or KiCad.
• Familiarity with simulation tools like SPICE or MATLAB.
• Must be willing to relocate to Miami, FL or Austin, TX.

Nice to have

• Experience with high-voltage or high-power electrical systems.
• Exposure to renewable energy applications such as solar inverters, BMS, or grid interconnection.
• Hands-on prototype and field-testing experience.
