Semiconductor Maintenance Technician – CVD

Location: Chandler, United States; onsite in a manufacturing fab. Compressed shift schedule with night shift available.

What you will do

• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on CVD equipment in the Chandler Fab.
• Maintain AMAT Centura 5200, AMAT P5000, AMAT Producer, Novellus Concept 2 STI, Watkins Johnson 999, Rigaku XRF 3650, and Edwards Abatement systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, electronic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.
• Complete scheduled maintenance, consumable changes, documentation, and other activities supporting equipment reliability.
• Diagnose equipment alarms, interpret operational data, and create action plans.
• Coordinate with internal and external groups and train others when required.

Requirements

• Ability to work in a high-volume semiconductor manufacturing environment and sustain equipment with minimal direction.
• Root-cause problem-solving skills for complex semiconductor toolsets.
• Working knowledge of SPC, 5S, and FDC systems.
• Ability to follow safety protocols when working around hazardous chemicals.
• Ability to stand for up to 12 hours, work in confined spaces, stoop, crawl, and lift or carry objects up to 50 pounds.
• AA, AS, or AAS in electronics or another mechanical discipline preferred; relevant implant experience or military training may satisfy formal education requirements.
