Manufacturing Technician III (Semiconductor Equipment)

Salary: $23.00–$31.40 per hour

What you will do

• Build, repair, and test electrical, electromechanical, vacuum, and pneumatic assemblies, subassemblies, and components using work orders, schematics, wiring diagrams, and parts lists.
• Perform electromechanical assembly, troubleshooting, repairs, and process improvements.
• Receive and inspect parts, audit inventory, identify defects, and ensure required components are available.
• Use test fixtures, electronic measurement equipment, leak detectors, and vacuum pumps to test equipment.
• Complete production, labor, and expense documentation; perform data entry, programming, repairs, and software installations as needed.
• Work independently with minimal supervision and support junior colleagues as an informal resource.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree.
• 2–4 years of semiconductor or display experience, or comparable industry or military experience.
• Related technical training and certifications.
• Ability to work in a cleanroom and use required personal protective equipment, hand tools, power tools, and heavy machinery such as forklifts.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, reach, climb, lift, and work in tight spaces for extended periods.

Nice to have

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills using established procedures or scientific methods.
• Experience acting as a peer leader or trainer.
• Proficiency in semiconductor manufacturing concepts and processes.
• ASSEET or BSEET qualification.
