Electrical Engineer (Semiconductor Manufacturing)

Location: Wilton, Connecticut, United States; onsite presence required, with remote work up to two days per week potentially available based on business needs.

What you will do

• Develop electrical hardware, interconnects, controls, and integration solutions for advanced lithography platforms.
• Translate system and stakeholder needs into electrical requirements, interface definitions, design concepts, and verification criteria.
• Create schematics, wiring diagrams, technical specifications, test plans, design documentation, and release artifacts.
• Plan and support prototype bring-up, verification, validation, qualification, and system integration.
• Use simulation, laboratory measurements, and test data to troubleshoot issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with mechanical, software, systems, manufacturing, supplier, service, and customer support teams on product readiness and improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechatronics, Systems Engineering, or a related technical field.
• At least 4 years of relevant professional experience.
• Experience with electronic design automation tools and printed circuit board design.
• Experience with electrical testing, troubleshooting, validation, and verification.
• Knowledge of analog and digital circuits, power distribution, grounding, signal integrity, safety circuits, requirements traceability, and product-development lifecycle practices.
• Legally authorized to access controlled technology under United States export regulations before starting work.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree or PhD in a related technical field.
• Experience with Mentor Graphics xDX/xPCB Designer, EPLAN, AutoCAD Electrical, SolidWorks Electrical, PSpice, or similar tools.
• Experience with MATLAB, LabVIEW, Python, scripting, test automation, or data processing.
