NPC Manufacturing Engineer II (Semiconductor Manufacturing)

Location: Austin, Texas, United States; 100% onsite, not remote or hybrid

Salary: $78,500–$108,000 per year

What you will do

• Develop and maintain manufacturing methods, operating sequences, and processes for parts, components, subassemblies, and final assemblies.
• Coordinate the release of product improvements and new products with other engineering functions.
• Apply engineering and design-for-excellence principles to reduce manufacturing and product costs and improve quality.
• Define time standards and recommend tooling and process requirements.
• Develop test procedures, evaluate test results, and assess work methods, procedures, and policies.
• Identify root causes and corrective actions for assembly and system-testing issues, perform process failure mode and effects analysis, and prepare reports.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 2–4 years of related experience.
• Conceptual knowledge and technical experience for everyday manufacturing problem-solving.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to explain complex information clearly.
• Ability to work 100% onsite at the Austin campus.
• Ability to meet physical requirements including extended standing, walking, working in tight spaces, lifting, and using hand and power tools; clean-room PPE may be required.
