Manufacturing Technician I (Semiconductor)

Location: Benicia, California, United States; onsite

Salary: $18.00–$24.80 per hour

What you will do

• Build, repair, and test electrical, electromechanical, vacuum, and pneumatic assemblies, subassemblies, and components.
• Perform electromechanical assembly, troubleshooting, repairs, and process improvements under supervision.
• Audit part availability, inspect components for defects, and follow work orders, schematics, wiring diagrams, and parts lists.
• Use test fixtures, electronic measurement equipment, leak detectors, and vacuum pumps to test assemblies and components.
• Complete job documentation and data entry, and perform programming, repairs, or software installations as needed.
• Work in a cleanroom and perform physically demanding activities, including standing, lifting, climbing, and operating hand or power tools.

Requirements

• High school or technical diploma, technical degree, certificate, or equivalent.
• Basic analytical, scientific-method, or operational-process skills.
• Ability to follow written and verbal standard operating procedures.
• Knowledge of basic hand tools.
• Ability to use required personal protective equipment and distinguish colors in a cleanroom environment.

Nice to have

• Up to one year of semiconductor or display experience, or comparable industry or military experience.
• Technical education, certifications, or training.
• Experience with standard operating procedures, scientific methods, and quality guidelines.
• ASSEET or BSEET qualification.
