What you will do

• Perform routine to moderately complex design, testing, checkout, fabrication, modification, troubleshooting, and assembly of electronic and electro-mechanical systems.
• Test and troubleshoot system-level and component-level electrical and mechanical issues.
• Support new system and NPI installations, field upgrades, rework, and quality notifications.
• Perform mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, vacuum, and process testing according to engineering and manufacturing specifications.
• Compile logbooks and test procedure documentation using clear written communication.
• Follow safety, security, equipment handling, and workplace health procedures.

Requirements

• Analytical skills and the ability to apply scientific methods to technical activities.
• Ability to work from schematics, diagrams, written and verbal descriptions, layouts, and plans.
• Ability to recognize and solve typical problems using established procedures or scientific methods.
• Understanding of how the assigned team integrates with other teams.
• Effective communication skills for exchanging technical information.
• Onsite work in Austin, TX is required; travel is not required.
