Salary: $144,000/year–$200,000/year (Alberta, British Columbia & Ontario); $129,600/year–$180,000/year (other locations in Canada)

What you will do

• Handle intake of severe cyber events and coordinate with breach counsel, forensic investigators, and other vendors.
• Evaluate pending claims and recommend accurate reserves.
• Manage litigation and third-party liability arising from security failures or data breaches (Media and Tech E&O).
• Maintain accurate, timely claims documentation in the claims system and assess liability/damage with proper documentation.
• Assess insurance coverage issues and guide/track third-party vendors’ work and spend.
• Collaborate on defense and resolution of claims; provide data and reason-based informational assistance to underwriters and support business development/marketing; liaise with partner carriers.

Requirements

• Location: must be located anywhere in Canada
• 8+ years of experience handling claims and litigation for policyholders with revenue above $1 billion.
• Adjuster licence from the Québec Autorité des marchés financiers (AMF).
• French: fluent
• English: fluent
• Strong coverage background and proven ability to work in a team and lead/coordinate others in a changing environment.
