Salary: $153,500 - $310,500 per year

What you will do

• Lead hardware R&D programs across the full product lifecycle, from concept through mass production.
• Translate business and product strategies into clear hardware development goals and execution plans.
• Manage resources, priorities, project budgets, and timelines to ensure on-time delivery.
• Identify technical and schedule risks early and implement effective mitigation and contingency plans.
• Collaborate with system architecture, firmware, supply chain, and program management teams.
• Build and develop high-performing hardware engineering teams through coaching and performance management.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related discipline.
• Proven experience in people-centric leadership, mentoring, and developing engineers at all career stages.
• Strong execution mindset with success in prioritizing work and aligning resources in global environments.
• Technical expertise in high-speed hardware design, including signal integrity and power integrity.
• Must be based in or able to work from an HPE office in California.
