What you will do

• Manage day-to-day tax responsibilities for funds, management companies, and the family office.
• Prepare tax computations and work papers for partnership tax filings.
• Automate tax functions by leveraging technology tools.
• Review partnership tax compliance and U.S. tax withholdings for foreign investors.
• Research the tax treatment of complex financial instruments and corporate actions.
• Coordinate ASC 740 analyses and respond to requests from taxing authorities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
• 4-8 years of relevant work experience in hedge fund or partnership tax.
• Proficiency in calculating taxable income, partnership tax allocations, and US Tax Return Filings (1065, 1120F, 8858, 8865, 5471, 7004, 1042 etc.).
• Experience with FATCA/CRS filing and securities tax analysis.
• Proven ability to use technology to improve tax processes (e.g., Alteryx, PowerBi, Tableau, UiPath).
• Strong working knowledge of Excel (pivot tables, v and h lookups, index match).

Nice to have

• CPA certification.
• A mix of public and private tax experience.
• Experience with credit products.
